I am Krishh

Career

Hello, I’m Krishnan

I build mobile apps, and I have been doing it for 14 years. I started in 2011 as a software programmer writing C# .NET for Windows, but within a few months Android caught my attention, and I never really left. I taught myself from the official documentation and whatever tutorials I could find, which is a polite way of saying I read a lot and broke a lot.

The short version of the journey

Android with Java came first. In 2017, when Kotlin became Android’s official language, I started a project in it from scratch and haven’t looked back. Around 2019, I added Flutter, so I could ship to Android and iOS from one codebase. Along the way, I worked on products in fintech, e-commerce, motorsports, and maritime software, from payment integrations to a native rebuild of a motorsports app.

More recently, I stepped into architecture and team leadership, working across mobile, Angular on the web, and ASP.NET Core on the server. I enjoyed seeing how choices in one layer ripple into the others, and I realised that the part I enjoy most is still building things hands-on, so that is where I am steering my career.

What I’m into now?

I’m deepening my skills in architecture, testing strategy, and AI (artificial intelligence) assisted development, where the tools help with the typing and the engineer keeps the final say.

I’m also looking for my next job, and I’m open to relocating to Kochi, Bengaluru, or Germany (Germany would need visa sponsorship).
